ANDOVER, Mass. — Major delays were reported on I-495 south in Andover early Tuesday morning after a fatal crash on the highway.
MassDOT said the crash, which was reported at exit 40, forced officials to close two lanes on the highway.
The left lane has since been reopened, but delays of nearly two-and-a-half-hours were reported.
Massachusetts State Police say 59-year-old Maureen Bonnell of Haverhill was killed in the crash.
