Trader Joe's recalls some cashew products for possible salmonella

BOSTON — Trader Joe’s has recalled some of their raw cashew pieces snack foods because of possible salmonella contamination.

The recall impacts one batch of cashews in 16 oz. non-resealable bags with the Best Before code of 07.17.2016TF4.

The snack food was sold across New England and New York as well as parts of the Midwest.

The company says no illnesses have been reported so far.

Customers are urged not to eat the product, and to dispose of it or return it to any Trader Joe's for a full refund.
