(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – We now know the name of a Cape Cod towboat captain found by divers Wednesday morning.
Thirty-eight-year-old John Redler's body was discovered inside his 29-foot tow boat called the "Triple J" in Buzzard's Bay.
The Coast Guard told FOX 25 the boat had just completed a job when the operator placed a call around 1 a.m. Wednesday, saying he was taking on water.
The Coast Guard and other local agencies started searching after receiving that distress call. Hours later, divers from the Wareham Fire Department found the body in the partially submerged boat.
Police say foul play is not suspected, but an autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death.
