(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Remains found near the home of convicted murderer Shelia LaBarre could lead to a new homicide probe.
According to New Hampshire officials, human toes were found near LaBarre's horse farm around the time she was arrested back in 2006.
LaBarre was sentenced to life in prison without parole for killing two men on her farm.
The toes apparently belong to a third person who has not yet been identified, but officials say if there is a DNA match in the future, investigators could open a new case.
A jury rejected LaBarre's insanity plea and convicted her of first-degree murder in 2008.
