Those who enjoy taking trips to Toby Keith's I Love This Bar will find some sad news when they head to Patriot Place for a meal from now on, after Patriot Place announced the restaurant's abrupt closing.
According to a statement from Patriot Place spokesman Jeremie Smith, "Patriot Place management and Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill have mutually agreed to terminate the tenant's lease."

"We would like to thank CRGE Foxborough, LLC for the service and hospitality they provided to our guests over the years," the statement read. "We greatly appreciate Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill’s many contributions to the success and popularity of Patriot Place and wish them well in their future endeavors."
A sign on the restaurant's doors confirmed the closing, thanking customers for their support through the years:
"It is with our deepest regret that Toby Keith's doors will remain closed. To our regular guests, we are very grateful for the support you have given us over the past eight years. Through the years, we have been home to many great shows, events and celebrations, which have been as memorable for us as we hope they have been for you. From our staff to our management, we thank you again, as always proceed to party."

There was no further information given as to why the lease was terminated.
