John Tierney denies any wrongdoing. His wife, Patrice, was sentenced to 30 das in jail for her role in her brothers' illegal gambling operation. She says neither she nor her husband were aware of what was going on.
The brothers are telling a much different story. They say the congressman was fully aware of the family's offshore illegal gambling operation.
Tierney was campaigning in Salem over the weekend where he spoke about the accusations.
Brother-in-law Daniel Eremian was sentenced to three years in prison last week. His other brother-in-law, Robert, is still facing more than 400 federal charges.
