Customers waited for several hours to say they made history, with New England Treatment Access in Northampton closing their doors at 10 p.m. after opening 14 hours earlier, and others making their purchases out at Cultivate in Leicester.

"We've been waiting for this for quite a while." Dylan and Marty Egyes said at NETA. "We wouldn't have missed this for the world."
Police officers were on site to make sure the night ran smoothly, and it did.
By 3 p.m., 1,000 transactions had been made. By the end of the night, 1,000 more had come through.
Dylan and Marty Eges said the moment was worth the wait. Dylan suffers from a seizure disorder, and says cannabis is the only thing that can help.
