BOSTON — Boston Police are investigating after a bullet flew through the window of a law office in the city’s Leather District.
Attorney Justin F.X. Kennedy, who owns the office, told Boston 25 News he was first confused by the scene he walked into in the morning. The bullet pierced a large glass window and ricocheted across the office on Lincoln Street.
Kennedy believes it was fired from a parking garage across the street sometime in the overnight hours on Sunday.

“Thank god I wasn’t there!” Kennedy said. “It’s a little disconcerting that somebody’s across the street from you in a parking garage with a gun and firing it.”
Boston Police detectives photographed the scene and collected evidence.
Kennedy said he’s not too optimistic that any arrests will be made. He is hopeful that the downtown area that’s felt eerily deserted will come back alive in a positive way.
“The usual people, business people and professionals, aren’t really around,” Kennedy added. “The only other people that are around are people looking for trouble.”
