Teams salvaging boat that ran aground in Boston Harbor

BOSTON — Recovery teams will be out Wednesday morning to salvage a boat that ran aground in Boston Harbor Tuesday night.

The incident occurred near Lovells Island.

The United States Coast Guard said two people were on the 35-foot vessel when it ran aground, and they called 911.

The Boston police Harbor Unit rescued the pair and brought them back to shore.

They didn’t want to speak about the incident, but neither were injured.
