‘Strong: A Boston Anthem’ spreading hope during coronavirus pandemic

BOSTON — This Patriots’ Day was supposed to be the day runners laced up and wound their way from Hopkinton to Boylston Street in the 2020 Boston Marathon, but the global COVID-19 pandemic has created a sense of sadness for runners who now have to wait until September for the race.

That sadness and waves of grief are not unfamiliar to those in the City of Boston as the city endured the Boston Marathon bombing seven years ago.

Musician Amanda Carr composed an anthem to lift and rally the city together after the bombings and in the current crisis, that message of hope is resonating once again.

You can find more information about the song here.
