BOSTON — A box truck on Storrow Drive westbound crashed into the Fairfield Street pedestrian bridge Monday afternoon.
Massachusetts State Police said no one was hurt and the bridge wasn’t damaged.

The left lane was closed so the truck could be removed.
The truck is registered to Neptune Trucking LLC in Grapevine, Texas. A phone call to the company went unanswered.
Trucks get jammed under Storrow Drive’s notorious low overpasses often, but the crashes mostly happen in late summer and early fall when college students new to the city rent moving trucks and ignore the height restriction warning signs. The phenomenon has been dubbed Strorrowed, which Urban Dictionary defines as: “Putting a 12’6″ truck under a 10’6″ bridge. Common in Boston MA.”
