WEYMOUTH, Mass. — Police are currently responding after two people were shot in Weymouth Tuesday night.

State Police Detectives assigned to the DA's office, crime scene investigators and the ballistics unit are all assisting with responding to the shooting in the area of 81 Rockway Avenue.

A State Police source told Boston 25 News two people were shot and one victim has serious injuries.
The source also said police are currently looking for three suspects and a car involved in the shooting. A description of the car was not given.
A witness who lives on the fourth floor of a building near the shooting said residents were told by police to stay inside, saying "It sounds very chaotic right now."
State Police Homicide Detectives assigned to the Norfolk County DA's office were called in to the scene.
No further details have been released yet.
