SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Somerville High School students helped spread some inspiration and positivity to their fellow classmates before the Thanksgiving break.
The group of student leaders spent five hours after school on Tuesday and used more than 1,200 Post-It notes to leave every student an inspirational note on their locker. They also wrote letters of thanks to every faculty member and put them on more than 200 classroom and office doors.
The students did it "to add some love, unity, positivity and warmth to a community that has been impacted on recent national events," Kevin Dua, a history teacher at Somerville High School, told FOX25.
