PROVINCETOWN, Mass. — Several shark sightings occurred along the coast of Cape Cod on Sunday, shutting down multiple beaches.
A great white was spotted at Race Point Beach in Provincetown, closing beaches in the area that have since reopened. Witnesses also reported seeing sharks near Truro.

Then, Nauset Beach in Orleans was later closed to swimmers for an hour after a shark was spotted there just before 2 p.m.
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy also confirmed another sighting in Chatham.
