Several arrested, including juveniles, after Southbridge drug bust

SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. — Three people have been arrested and charged with illegally selling drugs from an apartment building in Southbridge.

Police tell FOX25 that numerous citizens and businesses complained about an on-going issue, and after surveillance they identified three apartments where crack cocaine and heroin were being sold.

Police say Israel Pizzaro, 50, Miguel A Miranda-Rojas, 35, and Raul Colon Santos, 36, were selling drugs and using juveniles as lookouts for police.

All three men were arrested Monday and charged with being in Possession with intent to distribute a class B substance and conspiracy to violate the drug laws. Miranda was also charged with possessing stolen property valued over $250.

A warrant has been issued for Carlos Mercado on charges of Possession with intent to distribute a class A substance and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.

In addition, two juveniles were arrested on charges of conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Several FOX25 viewers reached out after noticing a large SWAT presence during the arrests Monday afternoon.
