BRAINTREE, Mass. — Mall security is expected to be heightened after the trouble that broke out at South Shore Plaza Tuesday night.
Braintree’s Police Chief tells Boston 25 News several youths were arrested Tuesday night after a fight broke out in the food court.

As heard in the police radio call, several officers were dispatched to the scene the restore order, which meant shutting down the food court:
“Get us mutual aid. We’re going to shut the food court down, this place is going to erupt, we gotta get this place shut down.”
It’s unclear the exact ages of those involved, but the chief did say many people will be in court Wednesday.
