Seven long-haired collies are recovering in two MSPCA centers after being rescued from a property in Solon, Maine in July, according to the organization. Four are located at the Methuen location with three others at the center on Cape Cod.
The animal welfare organization says that the dogs were rescued from "cramped and overcrowded conditions," and arrived at their new locations on Thursday, August 22.

The dogs range from one to 10 years old and are all females.
The Maine Animal Welfare Program removed the dogs, along with more than 100 other animals, from the Maine property on July 23.
