BEVERLY, Mass. — A convicted sex offender is accused of climbing into a college student's room while she was asleep.

A Level 2 sex offender, 33-year-old Tyler Jacquard of Melrose, is charged with two counts of burglary and disorderly conduct. Police say Jacquard climbed through an unlocked window at Endicott College's Ledge House dorm last month and stood at the end of a students' bed while she was sleeping. When the woman woke up, Jacquard took off.

A few hours after that, police say Jacquard broke into another campus dorm but ran off when confronted.

Two nights later, Jacquard is again accused of peeping into a student's dorm window as she was getting ready for bed.

Boston 25 News learned this isn't the first time Jacquard has been arrested on a college campus. We were first to tell you last year when he was arrested at Wellesley College, accused of peeping into college dorms in May 2017. Campus police put out a sketch and two roommates say they saw him creeping around their window and called 911.

Jacquard has been arrested 23 times, nearly a dozen of them have been for lewd conduct, including an incident at Boston University in 2016.

Jacquard is being held without bail. His attorney told Boston 25 News, "I'm sorry, I have no comment."

Endicott College released a statement Tuesday saying, "The safety of its students is of the utmost importance."
