Search ongoing for missing New York high school teacher

LEE, Mass. — A search is ongoing for a missing high school teacher from Delmar, New York, whose car was found in Lee, Massachusetts on March 27.

42-year-old Meghan Marohn is an English teacher at Shaker High School and has been missing for almost a month. She is white, about 5′6″ and 120 pounds with red hair and green eyes.

Her black 2017 Subaru Impreza was found parked on Church Street at Longcope Park in Lee. The park is a popular hiking area.

Extensive searches of that area are underway.

In a statement, Dr. Joseph Corr, the Superintendent of North Colonie Central Schools, said, “We know this is an incredibly stressful time for North Colonie students, families, and staff. We continue to keep Ms. Marohn and her family in our hearts and minds. She is a valued and loved member of our school community.”
