SALEM, N.H. — Salem, N.H. Police are investigating the possibility that a middle school student had sexually explicit photos of a juvenile.
Child pornography was reported at the school Wendesday, according to a report from the Eagle Tribune. Police said the incident incolved only one student and that no teachers or adults were implicated.
Salem Superintendent Michael Delahunty said a student shared "that he had photos," but said he didn't know anything further.
"When it came to school officials' attention that this student was sharing that he had photos, we immediately notified the school resource officer and at that point, because of the nature of the reports, particularly with child protection acts on the books, we know that these are very serious and legal matters, so our SRO began to investigate," Delahunty told the Eagle Tribune.
No arrests were made. It was not clear if the photos were of the student in question or another juvenile.
