ROCKLAND, Mass. - Rockland's Board of Selectmen met again on Tuesday to discuss misconduct allegations against two town officials.
Sources told Boston 25 News last week the allegations are sexual in nature and reportedly center around claims the officials participated in inappropriate behavior inside town hall.

The selectmen addressed the claims during an emergency meeting last week and continued their discussion Tuesday night.

No names have been released, but so far town administrator Allan Chiocca has been placed on paid leave, pending the outcome of an investigation.
As soon as the meeting was called to order, the board went into executive session to discuss the issue privately. Behind closed doors, the board voted to hire an outside investigator to look into this matter.
"While these allegations are certainly upsetting the town of Rockland is fortunate to have professional and dedicated department managers and staff in place that will ensure there is no disruption to service to our residents," said John Clifford, counsel for the town of Rockland. 'The Board of Selectmen will have no further comment until the investigation is complete."
Only four of the five board of selectmen were present at Tuesday night's meeting.
Rockland Police said there is no criminal investigation into this matter.
