NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. — The suspect in a homicide in North Attleboro has been found dead of an apparent suicide, according to the Bristol County District Attorney.
The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Fashion Crossing Plaza on Route 1. There, officers responded to reports of a shooting around 6 p.m. Upon arrival, police located the victim - a 37-year-old woman - who was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds sustained while inside a vehicle.

The victim was rushed to a Rhode Island hospital where she was pronounced dead. Officials identified the victim as Brandi Berg, 37, of Riverside, R.I.
Police identified 32-year-old Steven Fregeolle of Johnston, Rhode Island as the suspect. An arrest warrant was issued charging Fregeolle with murder. Police say they found his abandoned vehicle in Charlestown, RI on Sunday morning.
Officials later announced Fregeolle was found dead in a nature preserve in Charlestown, RI.
