TAUNTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – There's a reported criminal investigation at Taunton High School.

A city official familiar with the situation told the Taunton Daily Gazette that it involves students posting nude photos online. The exact details are unclear.
    
The school's superintendent told the newspaper students are safe and they are working with the police department.

Statement from Superintendent of Schools Julie Hackett, Ed.D.:

"The Taunton Police Department is currently in the process of conducting an investigation about an issue involving high school students, including students from Taunton High. Since this is an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Taunton Police Department, the school system is not at liberty to comment on the issue. Based upon our conversations with the Taunton Police Department, what I can tell you is that they have the matter well in hand, and there are no safety and security concerns for our students."
