WALTHAM (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The former Waltham police chief accused of assaulting his wife has been released on personal recognizance.
During a pre-trial hearing Wednesday, a judge relaxed the terms of Thomas LaCroix's release.
LaCroix will be able to visit his Maynard home during certain hours and can contact his wife by phone. He allegedly attacked his wife and his wife's friend during an argument back in June.
LaCroix will be staying at his mother's house and can still visit his children. His next pre-trial hearing is scheduled for September.
