PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Who said Providence, wasn’t fun? The Rhode Island capital was ranked the most fun city In New England.
The WalletHub recently published its 2016’s rankings this morning of the Most Fun Cities in America and Providence came in at #23, while taking the top spot in the New England area.
What makes a city fun? WalletHub’s criteria included entertainment and recreation, nightlife and party scene, with Providence coming in at the 5th most dance clubs per capita. It also factored in the cost, including cost of living and the average alcoholic drink price.
Surprisingly, Boston didn’t even make it into the top 50, coming in at 73 on the list.
Taking the top spot is the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. The least fun city on the list of 150: Oxnard, Calif.
