BOSTON — A Tennesssee man who flew between Boston and Nashville recently is among three Biogen employees who have tested positive for the new coronavirus, Gov. Charlie Baker said Thursday night.
The Tennessee Department of Health earlier announced the case in an official release, saying the man on the flight had tested presumptive positive for COVID-19 in Tennessee.

The man, who has a mild illness and is isolated at home, had been asymptomatic while traveling, per Tennessee health officials.
He is among three employees of the biotechnology firm Biogen who have tested positive for COVID-19 after a meeting with Biogen employees in Boston last week. Biogen has offices in Weston.
The three people do not live in Massachusetts, according to the company. The other two who tested positive for the virus are from Europe.

The man was tested at a Tennessee public health laboratory.

The Boston Public Health Commission released a statement to Boston 25 News regarding the incident.
The Boston Public Health Commission is actively working with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Massport, and the Tennessee Health Department, as well as our partners at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to gather all the information about the confirmed case, which remains ongoing.
