BEVERLY, Mass. — As many as 10 vehicles may have been involved in a crash that closed northbound lanes of Route 128 in Beverly Friday morning.
The crash was reported in the area of Exit 19, and MassDOT officials said traffic needed to be detours off the exit while crews worked to remove the crash from the road.
The breakdown and right lanes were reopened shortly after the crash, but Boston 25 News Anchor Julie Grauert said heavy residual delays were reported in the area.

It’s unknown what caused the crash, or if any injuries have been reported.
