MANCHESTER, N.H. — Coffee with Candidates is giving our viewers different insight into the people asking for your vote.

This week, Boston 25 News Anchor Kerry Kavanaugh chats with Democratic Presidential contender Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont).

She caught up with the Senator on Halloween. It was the morning he was in New Hampshire to officially file for the first-in-the-nation primary.

Kavanaugh met him at his Manchester hotel and brought the coffee to him, which he admitted he's drinking less of these days. He's instead opting for decaffeinated tea and watching his diet in general after having a heart procedure in early October, but he says he's feeling good and full steam ahead with his campaign.

Kavanaugh asked Sanders why he's on this journey a second time around and what's the one thing, even after more than three decades in public service, voters still don't know about him.
