BOSTON — Coffee with Candidates is giving our viewers different insight into the people asking for your vote.
This week, Boston 25 News Anchor Kerry Kavanaugh chats with the Governor of Montana, Steve Bullock. The Democrat has filed for the first-in-the-nation primary in New Hampshire, but his campaign is struggling to take off, and he won't be on the debate stage in the November debate scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 20.
Bullock told Kavanaugh he believes it will be the early voting states, not the debates that determine who reaches the finish line.
Kavanaugh met with Bullock at Caffe Vittoria in the North End. He normally drinks his coffee black but when he saw the cappuccinos there, he decided to give it a try.
He told Kavanaugh he's staying in the race because he says he's the only candidate to have already won an election in a state President Trump also won — Montana.
#CoffeewithCandidates continues tonight with @GovernorBullock of Montana. Great conversation over a couple of cappuccinos. Join us @boston25 at 4 & 6 pic.twitter.com/mneiImxmkb
