HINSDALE, N.H. — A 28-year-old man who was being sought by police in connection with a double murder in New Hampshire has been found dead in Vermont.

Derrick Shippee was found dead in Vernon, Vermont, late Friday afternoon, according to New Hampshire authorities.

Police had issued arrest warrants for Shippee after the bodies of Neal Bolster, 29, and Aaliyah Jacobs, 19, were found inside a residence at 240 Plain Road in Hinsdale on Thursday afternoon. Police found the bodies after conducting a welfare check at the residence.

Shippee was facing two counts of second degree murder for killing Bolster and Jacobs, New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said in a statement Friday.
