SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Police are asking the public for help finding a Springfield man who has been missing for nearly two weeks.
Springfield Police said 23-year-old Achim Bailey was last seen leaving Samuel's, a bar near the Basketball Hall of Fame, early on Jan. 13.
He was reported missing the next day and detectives were able to track him from surveillance cameras images walking alone down Hall of Fame Avenue towards Boland Way and then near the railroad tracks walking towards the South End Bridge around 3 a.m., Springfield Police said in a Facebook post.
Police said his phone last pinged at a tower near the bridge that night and after a search by over a dozen officers on multiple days without any leads or signs of Bailey, they are asking the public for help.
Anyone with information on Bailey is asked to contact Detective Lopez at 413-750-2379 or the Springfield Police non-emergency number at 413-787-6302.
