DETROIT — Two men committed armed robbery at a gas station in Detroit this weekend, police said, but they didn’t take any cash.
The pair stole three boxes of honey buns at a Citgo early Sunday morning, WXYZ reported.
Detroit Police Sgt. Mike Woody told WXYZ, "I wouldn't necessarily call them dumb, but I would tell you this much - it's a very dumb thing to be doing."
They used sticky fingers and a gun to walk off with some sweet snack cakes.

While one of the men went in the store to grab the sweet treats, the other man guarded the door and brandished a gun when a security guard tried to stop the robbery.
Police are actively searching for the suspects.
