ACTON, Mass. — A woman was killed early Tuesday morning after a crash on Central Street.

Officers responded to the scene just before 12:30 a.m. and found two people injured in a 2008 White Saturn.

Police said the driver was 35-year-old Deeiyvid Hoepers, from Acton. He was airlifted by Med Flight to Boston Medical Center.

Hoeper's wife, 39-year-old Shannon Milhomme-Hoepers was taken by ambulance to Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

In a news release Tuesday, police said the car appeared to have been driving down Central Street when it left the roadway, struck a wall and a telephone pole and ended up in a driveway, crashing into a vehicle that had been parked there.

The initial investigation indicated that speed and alcohol were possibly involved.
