Police investigating fatal stabbing in Quincy Friday night

QUINCY, Mass. — Quincy and State Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that happened Friday night in the Wollaston section, according to District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey.

According to a release by the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office on Saturday, the stabbing happened in a parking lot near the intersection of Hancock and Woodbine Street. Police were notified by associates of the victim around 10:45 p.m. Friday.

Cameron Nohmy, 24, of Quincy, was transported to Boston Medical Center where he later died, the release said.

“We know that there were witnesses to this brief altercation,” District Attorney Morrissey said. “We need anyone with information about this incident to be in contact with the Quincy Police at 617-745-5721 or Massachusetts State Police at 617-593-8840 immediately.”

State and Quincy Police are investigating.
