Boston Police are investigating after a fatal shooting in Mattapan on Sunday.
Officers responding to a call in the area of Mildred Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning found a man in his early 40s with gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, and he was later pronounced dead.
No arrests have been reported and police are urging anyone with information to contact the homicide division.
