NEWTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Newton police reunited a pig with his owner on Black Friday, according to the Newton Police Facebook page.
Police received a call Friday afternoon regarding a pig roaming around the Hagen Road area in Newton. Police say, they found Ziggy the pig in someone's backyard after responding to the area.
Not long after they found the 45-pound pig, officers located his owner, Chris Seested. It turns out that Ziggy escaped through a hole in the fence in his backyard. Seested put him on a leash, and took him home.
He was very happy to have his friend back.
"He's my buddy," he said.
