DEDHAM, Mass. — Papa Gino’s is now available in some local frozen food aisles.
The iconic New England chain launched a frozen pizza brand last week in Big Y grocery stores.
The partnership with Big Y stores is just the first phase of the Dedham company’s plans to launch Papa Gino’s Taditional Thin Crust Pizza in grocery stores throughout New England.
The pies went on sale January 15.
“At Papa Gino’s we are always looking to provide our guests with new, innovative ways to enjoy our Traditional Thin Crust Pizza using our 80-year old family recipe,” says Mark DeBlois, CEO. “We are excited to now offer a top-quality product to the grocery retail channel.”
Frozen options will include cheese, extra cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushroom and pepper and onion, according to the company.
The frozen pizzas are 12-inch pizzas and are only available in New England.
Big Y has 78 locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
