BOSTON — Both victims been identified in the double fatal shooting in Jamaica Plain.
Salem State University confirmed one of their students, 23-year-old Christopher Joyce, was killed in the shooting Friday night.
"Our thoughts are with his family and with the students who are suffering from a loss of a friend and classmate," a university spokesperson said in a statement. "We mourn the loss of Chris together, as a community. Support services are available for our students, faculty, and staff, and we ask that our campus have privacy at this time to grieve this tragic loss.
Boston Police later confirmed that 58-year-old Clayborn Blair was the second victim shot and killed.

Police were on patrol Friday when they heard gunshots on Centre Street near Jackson Square. They went to where the noise came from, and saw two men with gunshot wounds.
Boston Police are still searching for the suspects in the shooting.
