FRANKLIN, Mass. — The search for a missing college student in Franklin has entered its sixth day.
Franklin police say the Norfolk County DA has been briefed on the search efforts and Massachusetts State Police have deployed drones over the search area.
Police have been looking for 20-year-old Michael Doherty, who never came home after a party over the weekend.
Crews will continue searching the woods and wetland areas Friday. On Thursday, crews battled record-breaking heat as they searched for Doherty. By mid-afternoon, they had to pull back dogs and other crews due to the high temperatures.
