NEWTON, Mass. — Newton school and police officials are investigating what they are calling “threatening behavior.”
According to a letter sent out by Charles Brown Middle School Principal John Jordan, students observed the behavior and reported it a staff member Wednesday afternoon.
Classes will take place as normal on Thursday, but there will be additional police and staff present.
“Our strong partnership with the police department gives us confidence in our decision to hold school,” Jordan said in the letter. “We are proud of the students who brought this possible threat to our attention.”
