(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – New clues are leading to a new search in the case of a missing Woburn teenager.
Melanie Melanson went missing in Woburn back in 1989. She was last seen in the woods following a high school party.
Search teams turned up empty handed for years, including the most recent search of a small patch of woods in Woburn last fall.
Now, new details have come to light that suggest Melanie's remains may have been moved at some point from Woburn to the Middlesex Fells Reservation in Stoneham.
K-9 and search teams will cover sections of the reservation this Saturday.
No suspects have ever been named in Melanie's disappearance.
