EAST FALMOUTH, Mass. — A grisly double homicide still haunts the small Cape Cod community of East Falmouth. The victims: A man and a woman beaten and stabbed to death inside a locked up home. Four years later, the victims' families are left struggling to find justice.

"Nobody. Nobody deserves what has happened to them," said mother Andrea Williams. The bodies of her 24-year-old son Kristopher, and 43-year-old Crystal Perry were discovered on June 12, 2013 inside a home on Central Avenue. Crystal's sister, Veronica, made the awful discovery.

"I never expected that when I ran around and kicked the door open to find what I found. Blood was everywhere.  Blood was on the ceiling, on the refrigerator, the walls, the TV, the couches," said Veronica Perry.

According to the District Attorney, Crystal Perry and Kristofer Williams were beaten and stabbed to death. The killer has never been caught.

"We need to know why. Why this happened to them. And who. Who did this. This is a horrific murder," said Andrea Williams.

TROUBLED SOULS

Family members tell New England's Unsolved, both Kristopher and Crystal battled addiction. Kristopher's mother says her son was devoted to his dad, who was a Falmouth police officer, and that sports consumed his childhood.  But opiate addiction consumed the rest of Kristopher's life.

Crystal Perry belonged to the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe. Her family, and her horses, meant the world to Crystal, but addiction took over her life too.  She met Kristofer while the two were in rehab. Their relationship complicated life with longtime girlfriend Ashley Frye, the mother of his daughter, Ava. The night of the murder, Kristofer asked Ashley for a ride home from Crystal's house, but she did not take him back.

"I did want him to stay with me, but the addiction was too much to handle. Especially with our daughter living with me," said Frye.

NO SUSPECTS

No suspects have been publicly identified, but in a strange twist, Darryl Green was convicted of stealing money from the crime scene before anyone knew about the murders. He told police he was looking for drugs.

Veronica Perry said the case still baffles her, because Crystal didn't have serious enemies.

"I just want to ask them. I want to see them. I want to look them in the eye and say ‘why?’ My son never hurt anybody," said Andrea Williams.

The District Attorney believes these murders were not random, and that Crystal and Kristofer were targeted. If you have any information that could solve this case, call state police at 1-800-344-2722.
