CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — A new drive-thru COVID-19 testing site opened Sunday at 9 a.m. at the PhysicianOne Urgent Care on Boylston Street in Chestnut Hill.

Scheduled to remain open through 3 p.m. today, Dr. Brian Cruz, regional medical director at the PhysicanOne Urgent Care, said it expects to test 160 to 200 patients.

To get tested, people must have completed an online pre-test screening process with PhysicianOne Urgent Care. The online portal allows people a video exam with a doctor who will approve a coronavirus test. People also must be showing symptoms of coronavirus, such as a fever, cough and loss of taste or smell.

People don’t need to be a PhysicianOne Urgent Care patient to be tested.

The goal of this testing site is to test as many people as possible and stop the spread.
