BOSTON — A neighbor of Dr. Richard Field and Dr. Lina Bolanos - the two doctors found murdered in their South Boston condo in 2017 - testified Friday.
Claudia Mimo lived in the Macallen Building in South Boston, across the hall on the 11th floor from Field and Bolanos. She testified Friday in the trial for the man accused of murdering them.

Mimo said on the evening of May 5, 2017, she came home from work around 5:30 p.m. and didn't notice anything unusual, except for a light that is usually off. Later in the evening while eating dinner in her living room, she said she first heard loud voices.
"Get down to the floor, get down to the ground," Mimo testified.
Prosecutors say those voices were Boston Police trying to get the suspect, Bampumim Teixeira, to surrender when they thought he had a gun.
"I started walking toward the hallway and then I heard gunshots, so I ran the other way," she said.
Prosecutors say Teixeira was inside the couple's condo when Bolanos came home around 5 p.m. Field came home about 90 minutes later and prosecutors say Teixeira ambushed him. The couple was found tied up with their throats cut.
Mimo testified the only thing she heard after getting home was the shots fired by Boston Police.
"I called 911," she said. "Because I was panicking."
The prosecution has about 50 potential witnesses to go on the stand.
The trial will resume on Monday morning.
