Toronto Raptors star Scottie Barnes went down with an apparent foot injury in their 113-108 loss to the New York Knicks on Monday night.
Barnes, in the third quarter of the matchup at Scotiabank Arena, went up to try and block Karl-Anthony Towns at the rim from behind. Barnes was called for a foul on the play, and he collided awkwardly with Towns as he came down to the court.
Both Barnes and Towns fell down after their collision, and Barnes immediately reached for his right foot. Clearly in significant pain, Barnes was seen telling trainers that he couldn’t feel his foot while sitting on the court.
He was helped up and he hopped off the court to the locker room without putting any weight on his foot.

Barnes finished with 15 points, five rebounds and three assists in 23 minutes. The team ruled him out with an ankle sprain, but further specifics on his injury are not yet known.
Barnes entered Monday's game averaging a career-high 21 points, 8.7 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game. The former Rookie of the Year missed several weeks earlier this season after he went down with an orbital fracture after taking a shot to the face from Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokić in October.
Though the game was tight all the way through, and R.J. Barrett tied it up with about 45 seconds left, the Knicks ended the night on a 5-0 run to snag the win. Towns led the way wiht 24 points and 15 rebounds, and Jalen Brunson — who briefly left the game after he rolled his ankle on a fan's foot on the sidelines — added 20 points and 11 assists. The win, their fifth in their last six games, pushed the Knicks to 15-9 on the season.
Barrett led the Raptors withi 30 points and eight rebounds in the loss, which dropped them to 7-18 overall. Jakob Poeltl added 10 points and 12 rebounds, and Ja'Kobe Walter finished with 19 points off the bench.
It's unclear how long Barnes will be sidelined with his latest injury. The Raptors have just a single game over the next week — a matchup with the Miami Heat in South Florida on Thursday — so Barnes may have an opportunity to miss minimal time.
