CALIFORNIA -- People around the world took to social media to offer prayers and condolences for the victims of Wednesday’s deadly shooting in San Bernardino, California.
One particular image has gone viral. It is a drawing of a bear hugging the state. The grizzly bear is the official state animal of California.

It is not clear who created the original image, but colorful alternatives could be found on Instagram and other social media networks. The tag #prayforsanbernardino is accompanying the posts.
Police have identified two suspects who they say killed 14 people and wounded 17 people at a holiday party being held at the Inland Regional Center. A motive for the mass shooting has not been determined yet.
The shooting is the deadliest in America since Sandy Hook, which took the lives of 20 children and 6 adults.
