MSP Trooper arrested for assault in police chase suspended without pay

BOSTON — Massachusetts State Trooper Joseph Flynn has been suspended without play in the wake of assault charges filed with regard to his use of force during an arrest after a police chase in May.

The trooper had been suspended with pay pending an investigation into the incident, which was caught on camera by SkyFox. However, on Thursday, Trooper Flynn, 32, was suspended without pay during a hearing at General Headquarters.

New Hampshire State Trooper Andrew Monaco, 31, was also charged in connection to the incident.
