NASHUA, NH — Michael Jones, 34, has been missing from Nashua, N.H. for nearly three years, and his mother is still trying to find him.
“I honestly think something happened and he doesn’t know who he is, or where he is,” Susan Springer, Michael’s mother said in an interview.
Susan said she last saw her son at a McDonald’s restaurant near his Nashua apartment on Harbour Avenue on January 16, 2019. They had lunch and talked.
“He seemed very happy. Nothing was wrong,” Susan recalled. “He got a haircut, he was clean-shaven, nice and clean. He had a leather coat on, nice jeans, sneakers. He was in the best mood.”
But in the following days, Michael didn’t answer Susan’s calls and Michael’s friends didn’t hear from him either. A week after she had lunch with her son, Susan reported her son missing to Nashua Police.

She also started looking for him, contacting homeless shelters and rehab facilities and putting up missing persons posters from Nashua to Manchester.
Since Michael disappeared, others have vanished from the Nashua, N.H. area, including April Bailey and Amanda Grazewski. Nashua Police said they’ve found no connection linking any of those cases, but Susan Springer has her doubts
“What’s going on? Why is it in Nashua? Makes you wonder what’s going on.” Susan said.
Michael Jones has struggled with mental illness and substance abuse, but his mother said he wouldn’t run away for three years. No matter what the truth is, she wants to know.
“Until I know something, I’m not giving up hope. And if I don’t know anything, I’m still not going to give up hope. I just love him and miss him so much,” Susan Springer said.
If you know anything about the disappearance of Michael Jones or any of the other people missing from Nashua, you are urged to contact Nashua, N.H. Police at 603-594-3500.
