TAUNTON, Mass. — Middleborough Police along with Taunton Police executed a drug bust on Friday in Taunton where they seized 30K in cash, along with a number of illicit substances.
Together, the police departments seized fentanyl, cocaine, Xanax, Percocet, ecstasy and numerous other illegal prescriptions as well as cash from a room at the Fairfield Inn.
John Jones, 45, of Taunton, was arrested and charged with trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, Percocet, Xanax and a number of other prescription pills.
Jones was arrested and held on an outstanding warrant and will be arraigned at the Wareham District Court on Monday.
