BROCKTON, Mass. — More than 100 police officers swarmed Brockton Tuesday morning, arresting 26 people on arrest warrants in 40 locations, according to the mayor.
Mayor Bill Carpenter announced the operation Tuesday, which targeted both narcotics traffickers and violent offenders.
The FBI, Mass. State Police, the Southeastern Mass. Gang Task Force, Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department, Mass. Parole and the Department of Youth Services all participated in the raids.
One search on North Warren Avenue turned up more than 100 grams of cocaine and one gun.
Police say the 26 arrested are charged with various narcotics and violent offenses.
